YSC Online

YSC Online provides a seamless, 24 hour service to a global client base. We do this through our core hubs in London, New York, Sydney and Mumbai. This means that at any one time – we have trained staff available to provide clients with a seamless service.

Paul Ballman
PhD CPsychol. Managing Director

Paul is Managing Director at YSC having joined the company in 1998. Since then he has led YSC’s Online division through its first three years and founded the Sydney office. Prior to YSC he was a business psychologist with a US firm of consulting psychologists and a Development Tutor in Roffey Park Management Institute. His first role was in the field of Human-Computer Interaction with Nortel. He has a psychology degree from The London School of Economics and a PhD in psychology from Birkbeck College, London. He now focuses much of his time on the assessment and coaching of senior executives and the development of top teams.

Lisa Bisoffi
Associate Client Manager (Europe)

Lisa joined YSC in 2001. She is now an Associate Client Manager for YSC, looking after European clients. She is based in Italy.

Lisa graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with an Honours degree in Psychology in 2000. She then worked for a year at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London supporting the Occupational Therapy and Social Work department. Joining YSC in 2001, she moved to Italy in 2007 where she continues her client work. She is BPS Level-A trained and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Management.

In her spare time, Lisa is renovating a house in the Italian Dolomites whilst also trying to improve her skiing as well as being a mum to two children.

Allison Glen
Operations Manager (UK & Global)

Allison is an Operations & Senior Client Manager, based out of London – though her remit includes global clients in disparate geographies. As well as overseeing some of YSC Online’s largest clients, Allison has significant experience of survey design, product design and psychometric administration. She frequently partners with other parts of YSC – such as the coaching, assessment and consulting divisions – working with YSC consultants to provide a holistic solution to clients, incorporating the measurement element that YSC Online provides.

Allison is British Psychology Society Level-A trained, a Certified NLP Practitioner and a Certified Hypnotherapist. When she’s not working, Allison enjoys cinema, concerts and travelling.

Ruari Johnson
Client Manager (UK / Europe)

Ruari joined YSC Online as a Client Manager in 2010. In his current role he manages and develops clients in the EMEA region. He is based in YSC Online’s London office in Covent Garden.

Prior to joining YSC, Ruari worked in project management for a London-based business and IT consultancy, working mainly with public sector clients. In his early career, Ruari worked in the financial services sector.

Originally from Edinburgh, Ruari graduated with an Honours degree in Politics from the University of Glasgow. Whilst at university, Ruari also undertook an exchange year at the University of Stockholm, Sweden.

A keen musician, Ruari enjoys playing the guitar and accordion. Other interests include opera, theatre, cinema, football and cycling.

Aoife Kilduff
Project Administrator (UK / Europe)

Aoife joined YSC Online in 2010 as a Client Manager. She is currently based in YSC’s London office.

Prior to working at YSC, Aoife was a student at University College, Dublin. In addition to an Honours degree in Psychology she has a Masters in Cognitive Science.

Originally from Ireland, Aoife moved to London in 2010. Her interests include music, reading and foreign travel.

Alison Merz
Client Manager (Americas)

Alison joined YSC Online in 2010 as a Client Manager. She is based in YSC’s New York City office in Manhattan and is the primary point of contact for clients in North, Central and South America.

Alison graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Sociology. Her early career was in the banking industry, working for both Bank of America and Bank One Corporation. She also has project management experience with an award-winning design firm.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys art, film, and exploring the city.

Benaifar Nagwaswalla
Project Manager (India / Asia Pac)

Benaifar joined YSC Online in 2010 as a Project Manager for the Asia Pacific region and she is currently based out of YSC’s India office in Mumbai.

Benaifar graduated from Cardiff University (UK) in 2008 with an MScHRM. She also has an MA in Industrial Psychology from MS University, India. In her previous career, Benaifar worked as a Knowledge Manager for an educational software company in India where she created interactive content for learning and development. Benaifar also worked for Whessoe Oil & Gas (UK) in the HR function.

Benaifar’s interests include quizzes, reading, fencing, music, languages and the Arts.

Stacy Richardson
Operations Manager (Australia / Asia Pac)

Based in YSC’s Sydney office in the Rocks, Stacy is Operations Manager for the Asia Pac region. In addition to overseeing clients in Australia and New Zealand, Stacy also manages clients in Southeast Asia

Stacy graduated from Brown University in 2005 with a degree in Mathematical Science. Her early career was spent as an external auditor before she emigrated to Australia where she began her career with YSC.

Stacy has a particular interest in culture surveys as well as organisational and team feedback mechanisms. Outside of work, Stacy enjoys playing sport, live music and travel.

Rachel Short
Managing Consultant and Head of YSC Online (Global)

Based in YSC’s London office in Covent Garden, Rachel is the Global Head of YSC Online. Much of her role is spent managing international client accounts and acting as the lynchpin between YSC Online and YSC’s other areas of practice – coaching, leadership assessment and development, and organisational consulting. Rachel also manages the relationship with YSC Online’s technology partner – TDL.

In addition to her Organisational Psychology qualifications, Rachel has an undergraduate degree in Classics from Oxford University. Her research interests include women leaders, relationships at work and coaching for performance. Outside of work, she is a Relate counsellor, community activist and secret Arsenal supporter.

Katherine Williamson
Client Manager (Americas)

Kat joined YSC Online in 2007. She currently works as a Client Manager in YSC’s New York Office in Manhattan.

Kat has an interest in talent management and development and is currently studying for her MSc in Psychology. She moved to the US in 2011 after 4 years in the London office. Prior to this she lived in Australia.

Kat graduated from Deakin University in Melbourne with an Honours degree in Psychology in 2004. She is level-A trained, and a member of the BPS. In her spare time, Kat likes to travel and surf.

Samantha Yaxley
Client Manager (UK / Europe)

Sam joined YSC in 1997 as a founder member of the original YSC Online team. Based out of YSC’s office in Covent Garden, London – Sam is a UK and European Client Manager for clients in this region. She has significant experience of survey design, implementation and deployment and is particularly proud of helping clients to drive high response rates.

Sam has an HND in Business and Finance and in her spare time she runs a Rainbow Unit, the youngest part of the Girl Guiding Organisation.
